I have nothing to add to the artificial sweetner info. However, by attending RFA (Recovery from Food Addiction) and eating on the food program in Kaye Sheppard's book subtitled The Body Knows, I have lost 28 pounds in 3 1/2 months. And I have not had any indigestion or whatever it is when you'e sleeping and your food comes up. I am praying for the ability to continue this program -- no sugar, no flour, no wheat. (Also, no cheese, no caffeine, no carmel coloring and no alcohol.) I admit it is a challenge but there are so many good reasons to follow it.

I have just gone on my first trip away from home. This is a big deal because I have a strict eating program and can't always get what I need (food scale, special vegetables and fruit). Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I will bring the food that is right for me. I have lost 38 pounds in a little over five months. It is a challenge but it is not impossible. I pray for the willingness daily. I am also working on the twelve steps of AA as they pertain to food addicts. Those who stick to the program lose the weight and then maintain. I'm really excited about the idea of maintaining. Thanks for your support Sisters!
